There is something about having your manicure in tip top shape that can change my mood instantly. There is nothing on our bodies that we see more than our own hands and nails, and most of us like them tidy and easy on the eye. With the Orly Breathable 1-step Manicure range, you can get exactly what it says on the tin. The colour deposit is heavy on one single swipe, so you won't need too many coats. The breathable formula prevents chipping and peeling. It's infused with Argan Oil, Pro Vitamin B5 and Vitamin C so it's kind to your nail beds, as well as the skin around it, which means no base or top coat needed. Not to mention the wide range of nudes that are suitable for all skin tones. Music-to-our-ears.

It’s hard to upkeep a good mani, and having grown out acrylics is not that much better. So I was keen to give these a try and was pleasantly surprised. The shade complemented my dark skin impeccably, the wand was wide enough to cover most of the nail bed in one swipe, but not too wide that is hard to control and goes over the edges. The formula glides easily on the nail bed, but it isn't too watered down that it drips off easily. The durability is as good as I’d expect from a 1-set manicure. Want to fix up your nails as quickly and easily as possible? This nail polish is clearly the one.

This polish genuinely wowed me. Normally, when it comes to nude varnishes of the non-gel variety, I don't have high hopes. The same cannot be said of this Orly number; it glided on with minimal effort, didn't require a trillion coats in order to look anything other than a clear polish and, as if all of that wasn't enough, it dried beautifully. I'll definitely look to buy this again, especially given how flattering the colour was on my - let's face it - stubby nails. Top marks, Orly.

It takes a lot for me to tear myself away from my adored gel manicures, but this nail polish, my friends, might just have achieved the unachievable. A miracle worker when it comes to covering up my unhealthy, slightly broken nails, it only takes one coat to achieve the desired transparency – and dries *super* quickly. Perfect for girls who are always in a rush like me. As for its staying power? I wore it for a solid week before it started to chip. Impressive, huh?

I am a dark nail girly, even in summer to be honest, so the first sight of Orly’s Breathable One Step Manicure in the shade Fresh Clove had me drooling. The fact that it genuinely only needs two coats for an opaque, high-shine finish was my favourite part about the formula (anything to make life easy, right?), but its quick-drying and non-chip qualities closely followed. I’ve now had this mani for over 5 days which - unless you have the patience to apply a base coat, top coat and end-of-the-world-proof coat - is totally unheard of for non-gel nail polishes. So I’m well and truly an Orly stan forever.

After the festive period my nails definitely needed a break. The Orly Breathable 1-Step varnish was perfect for my time away from gels allowing my nails to do exactly what it says on the tin, breath. With additional nourishing ingredients such as argon oil, pro vitamin b and c, I feel like my nails aren’t only looking on trend, but also getting the special TLC they so desperately need.
This product has incredible quick drying properties and the wide brush is perfect for a smooth application. To top it all off this product is vegan and cruelty free so what’s not to love. I can’t wait to try this product in a range of colours as the season change.
